In honor of Earth Day, I thought it would be a welcomed change to share pictures of my favorite places on Earth. These locations are the reasons I work hard, the reasons I save money instead of buying a home and my motivation to stay healthy.
Being in these peaceful locations keeps me humble and grateful. I couldn’t share all my favorites but these are my top 3.
It’s no secret how much I love Central Park. I mentioned it in my About Me section of the blog too!
I try to avoid it in the snow (cold weather is hell on my fibromyalgia) but this picture was on a rainy day. Before I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia I enjoyed running near the reservoir and along the numerous pathways. I love walking through this area, called the Mall, because of the overhang of the trees. I enjoy sitting on the benches, people watching, writing in my journal, breathing in the fresh air and holding hands with my husband. This location holds a special place in our hearts.

This was one of my favorite spots in Northern Maui. If you drive up the coast, on a one lane road, you can reach this location. Surprisingly, there is a smoothie truck at this edge of the cliff! Honestly, it was the best passion fruit smoothie EVER! Maui is known for its beautiful sunsets and of course, its iconic beaches. It was hard to choose which picture would make the cut!
This is a hidden treasure in my beloved San Francisco. Born and raised in the Bay Area, there are so many places to explore and to enjoy the outdoors. This is one of my must-see spots when I visit home. You are likely to see brides taking wedding pictures, children feeding the geese and people relaxing on picnic blankets. Not pictured: Golden Gate Bridge, Sausalito and Muir Woods, which are nearby locations that are also must-sees!!
